SportStudioLab is an independently run, ad-supported web project. It builds free, browser-based design tools — lineup makers, formation builders, tactical boards, drill designers and matchday graphic makers — for nine sports: football, basketball, volleyball, futsal, handball, rugby, field hockey, american football and baseball.
Each tool is a small, focused editor for one job: build a lineup, sketch a formation, draw a tactical play, design a training drill, or turn a lineup into a shareable graphic. There is no account system and no server-side database — every design lives in your browser's local storage, and you download the result as an image or PDF when you're done.
The site is supported by display advertising (Google AdSense) and does not charge for any tool. There is no premium tier, no paywall and no artificial feature limit designed to push you toward payment.
SportStudioLab is a statically exported Next.js application, hosted on Cloudflare. The tactical boards, formation editors and export pipeline (PNG, SVG, PDF) are built in-house rather than assembled from a generic page builder — that's why each sport's court or pitch geometry, formation names and terminology are specific to that sport instead of reused wholesale from another one.
SportStudioLab is not affiliated with any football, basketball, rugby or other sports federation, league or club. Team names, badges and colors you enter into a tool are provided by you, the user, and are not endorsed by or connected to any real organization.
