Football's five tools cover the two things a coach actually needs before and after a session: deciding who plays where, and communicating a plan clearly. The lineup maker and formation maker both place eleven players on the pitch, but for different jobs — the lineup maker assigns real names and numbers to a matchday XI, while the formation maker is for testing a shape (4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 3-5-2…) before you've committed to specific personnel.
